Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Settlement


The panel ruled:
First: In the original case, to reject it and the plaintiff was obligated to pay the expenses.

Second: In the counterclaim, obligating the defendant company to pay our client the plaintiff 421,750 US dollars or its equivalent in Bahraini dinars on the date the lawsuit was filed with interest at 2% from the date of filing the lawsuit until full payment and charged it the expenses within the limits of what was decided against it, including the expert’s fees, which the panel estimated at two thousand dinars and one hundred dinars for attorney fees and refused the case against the second defendant.

Original lawsuit expenses: An amount of BHD 21488/500 as the lawsuit fee which the plaintiff paid in full and lost it due to the dismissal of the lawsuit.

The expense of the counterclaim: an amount of BHD 500/6536 as the case fee, which the plaintiff paid in full and loses an amount of BHD 3260/- because the case was partially accepted and the rest shall be collected as follows:

- An amount of BHD 3276/500 is collected from the first defendant in favor of the plaintiff our client for the fees of accepted requests.

- An amount of BHD 10 is collected from the first defendant in favor of the plaintiff our client for the fees of receiving the executive wording of the judgment.
